Paddock Spirits Co. was born out of necessity. During the COVID-19 pandemic, founders Cory and Blake Preston kept their cocktail bar afloat by selling cocktails to-go—first in whatever containers they could find in bulk (otter pop sleeves, mason jars, vacuum seal bags, you name it), and eventually in the tried-and-true 12oz can. What started as a bandaid quickly proved it deserved to see the light of day after the shutdowns, and Paddock grew into an award-winning canned cocktail company.

In 2024, Paddock teamed up with partners Nick Robertson, Nick Lee and Tony Poston and, after just a few months of production, entered the San Francisco World Spirits Competition—earning Best in Class for vodka-based ready-to-drink cocktails, beating out all the major canned cocktail players in the global spirits industry.
